So my baby brother is getting married in less than a month! It’s crazy if I really think about it. In theory, I know he’s a grown-up and it’s time, but after all these years, he’s still that skinny little boy running around the house in his underwear and a cap gun. It’s a little surreal. Between the bridal shower and the rehearsal dinner, just getting to the wedding has been a event all by itself:) I’ll be sharing the bridal shower photos soon…it was pretty adorable, if I do say so myself. The rehearsal dinner will be a “rockin” good time too!
The wedding, however, is vintage with some pretty Navy and Champagne. In honor of the festivities, I decided to share some of my favorite vintage wedding ideas.
I love blue Mason Jars. These pictured come from What’s the Use. I love the rustic, recycled feel of these jars. They are also easy to make. Here is a great blue mason jar tutorial from Bridgey Widgey.
In looking around for the perfect wedding outfits, I came across this awesome website called Shabby Apple. They sell GORGEOUS vintage clothing. I love the polka dot dress below. They also have some fun lace dresses to try.
This cute chalkboard chair idea comes from a vintage wedding I fell in love with when I first saw the photos. I love the vintage, DIY feel of the lettering.
My little princesses are going to be flower girls. They are VERY, VERY excited. For their hairpieces, I ordered custom vintage headbands from Birdie Baby Boutique. Her designs are AMAZING! Absolutely gorgeous.
So many amazing vintage wedding ideas. Too, too many to list. I have been putting together a pinterest board of ideas for my soon-to-be sister-in-law full of vintage wedding ideas.
Hope you enjoy…
