Thankfulness…the idea of thankfulness has been on my mind a lot lately. I know its cliche being a couple weeks before Thanksgiving, but I think that is one of the most amazing things about this holiday…it really causes people to stop and step back to look at their life. Thanksgiving can be a time of reflection and appreciation, however it can often be a stressful time when we don’t focus on the spirit of the holiday. I know I have been guilty many times of getting bogged down in the details of serving “dinner” instead of enjoying the day. Even as I attempt to write this post, my thoughts are accompanied by a cacophonous soundtrack of cries and whines and “mommies” from my two sick little girls, both of whom should be sleeping. Still, despite the deafening, seemingly unending cries…I feel blessed.
I am blessed with cries, but also with laughs. I am blessed with tiny fingers and toes, with dimply smiles and slobbery kisses. I am blessed to have an amazing husband who actually enjoys my quirky, OCD craziness, a precocious, beautiful two-year old miracle, a sparkly-eyed, sweet as sugar 11-month old angel and friends and family that support my dreams. I feel overwhelmed sometimes with the grace of God that I am able to have a job that I love and stay home everyday with my babies. I am thankful for all amazing people I have met since quitting my “day job” and diving head first into full time party planning and the many more I will meet in the years to come…
I want to share a thankful print with all of you. This is one of my favorite verses about being thankful. This print coordinates with the thankful printables for sale in our shop, but also is something you can use alone to accent any thanksgiving celebration.
Download the Thankful Print. Let’s spread thankfulness this holiday season:)
