New Year’s Eve is right around the corner. I can’t believe it is almost 2013. New Year’s Eve is one of those weird holidays in my house. My husband and I have been married for 7 years now and have actually only spent 1 New Year’s Eve together. This year will be our second. We have WANTED to spend New Year’s Eve together, but circumstances seem to never be in our favor. Either he is working or I am out of town. I rarely do anything that requires getting fancy and done up too. I instead usually opt for spending the evening with my kids and watching the ball drop on TV or attending a casual party or get together somewhere less crowded.
I guess it’s ironic, since I live in Las Vegas. Many, many people travel great distances to be on the Las Vegas strip for New Year’s Eve. I did go down there a couple years while I was in college…it wasn’t really my scene:)
New Year Parties are super fun, whether you go crazy elaborate or casual…you have to have the right decor, right…
