Farewell Spring Break…Farewell Easter. Hello Spring:)
I love Easter and Springtime. This Easter, unlike our typical Easter’s…I had a sick baby. My little Em was having herself a rough go of it. Going on 3 days of almost constant crying and sneezing and coughing and wheezing …not fun for the baby. Or the Mommy! We even had to miss church:( I am not a fan of missing church, but I refuse to be THAT mom…you know the one I’m talking about. The one who brings their sick kid to school or dance or soccor practice or the nursery so they share their germs with all the other little kiddies….I mean seriously, not cool.
While I enjoy the cuddles…I hate it when my girls are sick. It is sooo hard to watch your baby not feeling well. Especially on a day like Easter where they are so excited to participate in the fun things going on around them!
We did go and spend a little time with the fam hunting for Easter eggs and having some yummy grub. It was nice to see her perk up long enough to gather her loot from the yard.
My 3 year old almost ruined her Easter bunny experience when she opened the shutters and found my husband in the back yard with some easter eggs…we had to have a little understanding….She know will recite on command: “The Easter Bunny is very shy. If he thinks you are peeking into the yard, he will skip your house and you won’t get anything.” It’s pretty cute when she says it.
Here are some fun pics of my girls on their Easter hunt…
